As Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its next flagship device, the Galaxy Note 8, (the unpacked event is scheduled for August 23) we are now getting several press renders to see what the device might/will look like. Now we have another press render of the phone, thanks to @evleaks.
The front looks a lot similar to the Galaxy S8 sporting an infinite display with minimal bezels. The midnight black colored device picture also shows iris scanner on the top with volume rockers and the Bixby button on the left and the power button on the right.
The above picture may or may not be of the Note 8 but it revealed that the fingerprint sensor will be next to camera, much like its younger sibling – the S8. But this time time the camera module looks that of a dual camera setup. It is now very likely for Samsung to go with the dual camera setup as it has now become a norm with all the major OEMs launching devices with the same.
According to the rumors, the Note 8 will sport a 6.4 inch OLED display with the same aspect ratio of 18:5:9 as the S8 and QHD+ – 1440 x 2960 – screen. The dual camera modules are said to be of 12 MP (wide-angle lens supporting dual photodiodes) and 13 MP (telephoto lens) with OIS on both. The phone is said to come with an improved S Pen and is expected to be powered ny Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 chipset, varying by region and 6 gigs of RAM.
The Note 8 is said to come to come in three different colors, namely, Midnight Black, Deep Blue and Gold. The device is rumored to go on same globally for about 999 Euros ( US$ 118 / Rs 72120 approx.) in early September.
