Android Oreo update with EMUI 8 to roll out for these Honor devices soon

After refreshing its hardware lineup, it is time for Honor to refresh the devices on the software front. Huawei has announced the roll out of EMUI 8.0 for the Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9i, Honor 7X, and Honor 8 Lite smartphones in near future. Although, tech brand hasn’t confirmed any exact time-frame of availability.

The EMUI 8.0 focuses on AI and machine learning. Huawei claims that the new EMUI 8.0 update will make the software experience smarter and quicker. EMUI 8.0 sports features like AI-powered Real-Time Scene and Object Recognition, Smart Tips, and AI Accelerated Translator. Although some of these features might vary depending on the device.

Other EMUI 8.0 Features

Other features of EMUI 8.0 include Smart Resolution, dynamic wallpaper, navigation bar customizations,  intelligent split-screen interface, navigation dock, simplify one-hand operation and smart view on landscape and easy switch.

The update significantly cuts down on the number of steps needed to achieve the desired function through its smart applications like navigation dock and smart screen, and enables the user to reach 90% of the core functions in just a single-click. We have developed the EMUI 8.0 for those who live and work on-the-go.”

Devices that will Get updated to EMUI 8.0

Honor View 10 and the soon-to-launch Honor 9 Lite come with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. Devices like Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9i, Honor 7X, and Honor 8 Lite, on the other hand, will get it in the near future.
